Sponsorship

For 2011 the aim is to continue to strive to place this award scheme in a deserving setting, acknowledging the outstanding work that is done by public bodies to support and enhance the retail and leisure industries in every town centre. With this aim in mind, as we did in 2009 this awards scheme will once again be honoured with it’s own event.

This enhancement of the Town Centre Environment Awards means that we are able to offer a number of sponsorship packages enabling private sector organisations to be involved. Each package offers a range of branding opportunities in advance of and at the awards event itself.

As the awards will only be given to public bodies, sponsorship of the awards will enable sponsors to showcase their best town centre environment work and to meet with those public bodies seeking to develop partnerships to improve their town and city centres in the future.

We want to ensure that any partnership works to the sponsors best advantage and offers real value so below is a brief outline of the sequence of events and a list of some of the benefits sponsors will receive as part of a package:

	The BCSC Town Centre Environment Awards 2011 will be launched online in early 2011. Entries are submitted by post and are then shortlisted by the jury panel.
	A series of electronic ‘bites’ will be sent to the full BCSC membership at intervals between now and the award presentation event - each displaying sponsor logos on a rotational basis.
	The deadline date for entries is TBC.
	Judging for the awards will take place during April and May 2011 before being presented at an event TBC.

Sponsors will be entitled to the following as part of the package:

	Company logo (including hyperlinks) on the Town Centre Environment Awards website
	Company logo on all printed material produced for the event
	Company logo on one email sent out to the BCSC Town Centre Environment Awards contact database
	One full page advert in the conference programme (sponsor to submit artwork)
	Company logo prominently placed at the awards ceremony
	Three complimentary places at the BCSC Town Centre Environment Awards Lunch 2011

	Cost of package: £3000.
