The BCSC and ACE Awards committee is delighted to announce a partnership with the Institute of Customer Service. We anticipate this partnership will help those centres entering the Ace Awards to attain the standards of customer service required to win an award.

Visit www.instituteofcustomerservice.com, where you will find many free of charge resources to support you with service development in your centres including: opinion pieces, blogs, best practice guidance notes etc. The Institute also makes much of its research available to non-members for a modest fee and specific papers can be purchased individually, as required. They also run a professional awards programme; a benchmarking and accreditation programme and have a complete suite of training available.

Membership is also available at an organisational or individual level which makes a number of the Institute's papers free to access along with networking events and regular updates.

Finally, the Institute runs National Customer Service week every October which costs nothing to get involved with and could provide an excellent focus for centres that have entered the Ace awards ahead of the judging. A number of shopping centres have already joined the Institute including Land Securities and we may be in a position to negotiate a reduced joining fee if enough BCSC members show an interest.
