There are a number of social events – many of which take place in Showcase - intended to make your time with us as productive and enjoyable as possible. Highlights include:
Two study tours will be held on Mon 10 Nov from 10.30 - 16.00 (approx).
Delegates will have the opportunity to attend one of the following locations:
Study Tour 1:
Coach Tour - Heritage Tour
This tour will explore the heritage sights of Liverpool, including Pier Head, the Albert Dock, the Town Hall, St George's Hall, William Brown Street and Duke Street. It will visit the two city centre Cathedrals, as well as Hope Street and Chinatown.
The tour will visit the home of Liverpool football club - Anfield, as well as Toxteth, Sefton Park and back along the riverfront, passing some Beatles sites along the way.
Delegate registration will take at the ACC at 10.30am, and the coach will return to the ACC at 4.00pm. Lunch will be provided.
Study Tour 2:
Retail Walking Tour
Fully Booked
This tour will explore the retail offering of Liverpool, visiting the Albert Dock, Castle Street, the Met Quarter, St John's Shopping Centre, Rope Walks. Delegates will have a chance to see the newly opened Liverpool ONE.
Delegate registration will take at the ACC at 10.30am, and the tour will return to the ACC at 4.00pm. Lunch will be provided.
Delegates are asked to make their way to the meeting point at the ACC Liverpool for the start of each tour. Please note that places are limited. Full details will be forwarded closer to the event, when your place on the tour has been confirmed.
