BCSC’s annual Conference & Showcase is the largest gathering of the retail property industry held in the UK. This year’s event celebrated 25 years of BCSC and the huge contribution of the retail property industry over the last quarter of a century to the UK economy, the built environment and the communities served by shopping centres.
BCSC 2008 – themed ‘Create’ – took place at the ACC Liverpool, with Chartered Land as the primary sponsor of the Conference and Showcase. It saw nearly 2,900 participants attend, largely from across the UK and Ireland, but additionally from a number of European locations.
The event generated over £1.5m for the Liverpool economy in just three days – based on each delegate spending an average of £500 per head.
