BCSC's annual Conference & Exhibition is the UK’s largest gathering of the retail property industry.
This year, BCSC took a serious look at the issues affecting our industry, analysing the nature and consequences of the retail property development pipeline, the impact of funding models such as TIFs, public-private partnerships, occupancy costs and the need for dialogue between the public and private sectors, landlords and tenants, customers and retailers.
Content-led debate was intermingled with plenty of opportunities to do deals and network, particularly at the Exhibition in Manchester Central, welcoming 80 of the industry’s top suppliers. This year BCSC's public sector hub had another successful run with 15 major local authorities exhibiting and the event welcomes public sector colleagues from 52 authorities and representatives from almost 200 retail companies.
