By Rail

Getting to Manchester
Mainline services come into Manchester at either Piccadilly or Victoria stations. Piccadilly is the northern terminus of Virgin's flagship route to London and offers direct services to other major UK cities, including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Cardiff and Norwich. Getting to Manchester Central and Bridgewater Hall
Manchester's Metrolink service connects Piccadilly and Victoria stations with Manchester Central and the Bridgewater Hall, you should alight at St Peter's Square (5 mins walk away). You can use your train ticket to get the metrolink from Piccadilly, Victoria or Deansgate stations. Oxford Road station is a 5 minute walk away and Deansgate station just a 2 minute walk away. Alternatively, a well-served taxi rank is located outside Piccadilly station. This is a journey time of less than 10 minutes.


By Road

Getting to Manchester
Manchester serves as a hub to much of the UK's motorway network. Via the M60, motorway links for the north, south, east, and west lie within minutes of the city centre. Download a map of the Manchester area motorway connections.

Car Parking
Situated directly below Manchester Central is a large NCP managed car park, spaces for which can be pre-booked. There is also a smaller NCP car park at an upper level to the rear of Central Hall. Download a map showing the location of the car parks.

By Air

Getting to Manchester
Situated 10 miles south of Manchester city centre, the third largest airport in the UK is Manchester International Airport. Please visit the Manchester Airport Website for details on flight timetables.

Getting to Manchester Central and Bridgewater Hall
The airport has its own railway station and up to 6 trains an hour link the airport to Manchester Piccadilly station in the city centre. The journey takes about 15 minutes by train or alternatively, it is a short taxi-ride. It is also well served by bus and coach services with good road links into the city for those travelling by car.
