Awards 2010

Applications are invited for:
bullet In-Town Retail Scheme - open to all retail schemes that are either new builds, substantially remodelled, or extended.
Entries are now closed
bullet Out-of-Town Retail Schemes - includes outlet malls and is also open to out-of-town retail schemes that are either new builds, extensions or have new facades that have created a new visual image. Outlet malls that are either new builds, remodelled, refurbished or extended will also be judged within this category.

bullet Income Generation Project of the Year - open to owners and entrepreneurs who have created a significant, innovative project that has led to positive income generation from the medium of advertising, sponsorship, plasma screens, merchandising units, etc.

BCSC membership are invited to nominate:

bullet Retailer of the Year - open to emerging new retail formats e.g. a retailer who has
made significant changes impacting the UK retail industry, or
who has seen significant growth
Nominate
bullet Shop Fit/Design of the Year - acknowledges retailers who have created innovative and striking new shop fits/designs. National multiple and independent retailers will be considered.

Awards Jury to nominate:
bullet Established Centre - the jury will review schemes of at least seven years old to assess how well they have fared, based upon a series of criteria ranging from designs, financial performance, tenant mix, and interface with the customer and community.
bullet Local Authority Partnership - The jury will give consideration to granting awards to local authorities, which have created, implemented or delivered public/private partnerships that have been successful in delivering change to a city, town, and region.
   
In addition to a selected winner/s in each of the above categories, an overall Supreme Gold Award winner/s will be chosen by the jury.
