| The committee: |

monitors and, where appropriate, seeks to influence all legislation and government policy which may affect the UK retail property industry |

circulates to the BCSC membership the results of research commissioned by the Committee and responses to consultation papers received from Government studies |

seeks the views of members where appropriate |

co-ordinates input from all sectors on legislative issues related to the retail property industry |

considers joint working parties with other bodies, as appropriate, on specific topics. |
