The retail property industry must look at energy, water and waste solutions, in order to comply with government legislation and meet the planning requirements of local authorities. The attached paper outlines sustainable options that can assist with this compliance.

It was prepared on behalf of the BCSC Sustainability Taskforce and Technical Affairs Committee, outlines sustainable options that can assist with this compliance. It provides a brief outline of how the most tabled solutions work, with an estimate of the likely payback period of the initial capital cost.
