Christine's research interests include the development and dissemination of knowledge in the retail management discipline. In 2003, Elsevier Science published ‘Retail Strategy: The view from the bridge', which Christine co-edited with Jonathan Reynolds, the Director of the Oxford Institute of Retail Management. This publication brings together the research interests of the retail group at Templeton College and includes many interviews with senior retail executives that have appeared in the European Retail Digest during its ten-year history. Like the European Retail Digest, the book brings together practice and theory, with not one leading the other but presenting a virtuous circle of action and reflection. Christine has held lecturing posts at the universities of East London, Bournemouth and Cranfield, and has been a visiting lecturer at the University of Southampton's School of Management. ‘A management approach to database applications', written together with Prof. David Avison of the Grande Ecole ESSEC, was published by McGraw-Hill in 2002. Other publications include conference proceedings, journal papers and a chapter in ‘Knowledge Management in a SocioTechnical World'.
