Elizabeth has an established track record in retail planning and development, and in the understanding and critical analysis of international retailer strategies. She is a chartered town planner.
After professional posts in town planning, she began research work on retailing at the University of Newcastle and came to Templeton in 1986.
Her pioneering work on public policies and the impact of out of town retail development, as part of the Oxford Institute of Retail Management at the College, has provided benchmark research for practitioners in retailing and in retail property.
