Dr Yvonne Court is a Partner and Head of Retail Research and Consultancy at Cushman & Wakefield Healey & Baker. A geography graduate from Portsmouth Polytechnic, Yvonne holds an MA in Urban and Regional Studies from the University of Sussex and a doctorate in Population Studies from Portsmouth Polytechnic. Yvonne has a wide range of experience in both academic and private sector property research, having been involved with a broad variety of European and global projects. She has recently managed retail property consultancy studies throughout Europe. These have involved projects for leading retailers, developers and investors, including English Partnerships, AM Development, Foot Locker, Land Securities, The Gap, Sonae, Diesel, ING, The Boots Company, Chartwell Land, Game Stores, Tishman Speyer Properties and the Estee Lauder Group. Yvonne has written numerous articles and conference papers on aspects of retailing and retail property markets across Europe. She is a member of the Market Research Society, a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and a visiting fellow at the University of Reading. She is ex-Chairman of the ICSC’s European Research Group, a member of the ICSC Europe Board and ICSC North American Research Task Force, and a Faculty member of the ICSC European Retail Property School. Yvonne is a member of the BCSC’s Education & Research Committee.
