Tom Ironside Acting Director - Business Environment, British Retail Consortium |
| Tom Ironside is the British Retail Consortium’s Acting Director of Business Environment. Tom and his team at the BRC have responsibility for representing members’ concerns about a wide range of retail sector policy areas including employment, environment, Local Government, property and taxation. A key current area of the team’s activity is the BRC’s 21st Century High Streets campaign - working with Government and other partners to identify some of the key challenges facing UK high street locations and the potential solutions. Tom joined the BRC in April 2008. He has extensive previous experience in a range of different public sector policy roles, including in the postal sector in the years following market liberalisation. > Presentation |
